I see,

I see,

He comes faster and faster and faster,

The line moves slower, 

slower,

slower,

slower,

It's now my turn,

I ask some questions,

and some,

some more,

and some more,

it's time to go,

no,

no,

no,

We drive away

far,

far away,

I talk with my friend,

about my idol, Brendon McCullum.

we get home,

really,

really late. It was all worth it.

The sign of a warrior follow up Week 2

What do you think about Ash’s first impressions of Africa?  He thought Africa would be awesome. But when he got there he noticed that the skin colour was effecting him. 

Why do you think he says, “Dad, everything’s weird?”  Because everything is different.

Who is the author targeting with this humour: “I put a pair of socks at the top of my pack.  I’d worn them at gym class for a week and road tested them on Gran.  She nearly passed out and said a word I’d get grounded for saying when she opened my pack to check that I had my comb”? Dad 

Give reasons for your opinion. Because he said for ash to put stinky clothes at the top of your pack.

Do you think Ash’s comments about coming “face to face with a bunch of cannibals”  are appropriate or offensive? Offensive 

What helped you form your opinion? That he said he needs the spare money in case he ran into cannibals and I reckon it's so he doesn't get stuck with them.

Do you think the government should stop lions being killed for ceremonial purposes? No 

What is your stance on this issue

Because that's how the men show that they are a warrior & strong.

Discovery Time

1) Today for Discovery Time I played soccer

2) I showed creativity by making up a new position (RGK)

3) I showed agency by making sure we had the right equipment

4) We showed excellence by inspiring other people to come and play

5) Next week for Discovery Time I am going to play soccer

Book Bash

Predictions: I reckon there will be a person living in Africa and they wake up with a lion in there city so the person will try and kill it and become a warrior

Cover Design: It looks adventurers. And I wonder why the lion is so big.  It looks like an old style book and I like the illustrations. It looks cool because there's a man in the background with a spare.

Title: The sign of a warrior, it looks intresting because it sounds like war.  It sounds like every sentence will be interesting. The title hooked me by the Warrior. Who is the Warrior?

Blurb: It hooks you right from the first sentence because it sounds intresting. It sounds like it will never get boring. It sounds like a good book.
