The Bus Stop

Purpose: Describe the characteristics of an object


While I was skipping down a road and I saw a bus stop, it wasn't an ordinary bus stop, it was a magical bus stop. I thought this would be handy. I need to get to school quick, So I took a seat. Then I magically arrived at school. I new how to get to school fast now. Now because of that bus stop I will never be late

S.M.A.R.T Swimming Goals

Description: We have been swimming three times a week. We have taken a short clip of ourselves  swimming and then we watch it and chose our goals. Here are my goals and my video.

This is my first swimming video. I did this at the start of the term.


Here is my 2 Swimming Video. I did this after four weeks of trading three days a week.

Big Idea: My swimming Sports Goal: 
Is to come first in one of the three events.

To achieve my goal I am going to practice and try my best in the Carnival

My School Swimming Goal:
Is to not wiggle my hips when I swim

To Achieve my goal I am going top use my tummy up when I swim

Second School Swimming Goal:
Is to make my legs go like a motor

To Achieve My Goal I am going to kick as hard as I can and keep my legs together

Evaluation: I think I need to keep my legs just bellow the water so I can go faster instead of having them almost touching the ground

Recreated Stuck on a Escalator

Description:
We watched a video about two people on an escalator and they get stuck and don't use there initiative. We decide to create our own video of us not using our initiative. In my group there was Hunter' Jett and I. We created a video on Jett not using his initiative by not charging his IPad

Big Idea:

Criteria: (Content)
1. Video - 30 seconds long, time is limited.
2. Scenario - Show someone being stuck and not using the ability to act.
3. Clear Message - Short sharp clip. Can the watcher get the point of your video?
4. Unique - Coming up with something funny that gets a laugh from others.
5. Time Passing - Do you need to show time passing in your clip to emphasise your message.


Criteria: (Movie)
1. Light - Make sure the sun isn’t creating a hard to see clip.
2. Voice Volume - Needs to be louder than other background volume eg Noise, Kids.
3. Frame - What’s in the frame to make your message obvious
4. Steady Hands - Make sure the camera is still.
5. Individual Clips - Don’t do one continuous shot of 30 seconds. Make a range of short clips and join together.





Evaluation:
I reckon we did well in making sure our video was in the right angle so you could see Jett clearly. I think we could of worked on not cutting Jett's head on some of the frames.

Feedback/Feedforward:
You are very good at videos. You could work on not cutting Jett's head off. #Connor

Maths Number Testing

Description: This week we have been doing tests. We had to do a stage four test, stage 5 test and a stage 6 test. Here are my tests.

Big Idea:
In my Stage 4 I got 100%, in my Stage 5 Test I also got 100%, in Stage 6 i got 76%. You had to get 80% + to go up to the next test. The ones that are pink on my test are the ones that I got wrong and the ones that are yellow are the ones that I have redeemed, we got to have three seconds to see if we can redeem it. My goal is to complete the pattern
