Cinquains

Description: This week we have been learning how to write a cinquain. We had to write a cinquain and post it on our blog. In the first line of a cinquain it will have two syllablesband link with the last line.

The second line has 4 syllables and have to be describing words. The third line has 6 syllables and there has to be 3 words that end in ing. The second to last line describes something you do with 8 syllables in it and 4 words. The last line technically gives the reader what your thing your writing about is. • What do you think about Ranan throwing the rock at the baboon.(ANALYSING)

I reckon it was brave of Ranan to throw the rock at the baboon because the baboon could of attacked him.

• Describe when ash saw a lion for the first time. (Understanding)

Ash saw a lion for the first time when he was on his way to Ranan's camp. And the taxi driver stopped the van and said that he could hear something.

• Is it true that Ranan threw a rock and ran and why. (REMEMBERING)

Yes, it is true that Ranan threw a rock because he ran away from Ash and then Ash saw him pick up a rock and throw it

• Create a new character for the story that will fit in with the story.(Creating)

Ash's little brother. He hangs out with his own friends at Ranan's camp and goes milking the cattle's with Ash and Ranan.

Reflection: I think I used a few senses but next time I could use what I smelt. But I couldn't taste anything. I think I painted an OK picture in the readers head. Next time I could add some similes

Self Agent Wall

We chose our goal today and I chose self directed. My goal in self directed is to be a positive role model to other people. When you are a role model you are a person to look up to. You have to always meet your requirements.
